Using Plan Chat

Collaborate with attendees using the plan discussion thread.

Plan chat is a dedicated space for attendees to discuss a specific plan and coordinate details.

Enable Chat on a Plan

When creating or editing a plan:

  1. Click Enable Chat or similar option
  2. Save the plan

Once enabled, everyone invited can chat.

Send Messages

  1. Open the plan
  2. Click the Chat or Discussion tab
  3. Type your message in the text box
  4. Press Enter or click Send

What to Chat About

Plan chat is great for:

  • Asking questions about the event
  • Coordinating carpools or timing
  • Sharing photos or updates
  • Discussing details like what to bring
  • Confirming attendance details

Notifications

By default, you'll get a notification when someone messages in your plan chat. You can disable this in your notification settings if it's too much.

Only See Messages from Attendees

Plan chat is private to that plan. Only people who are invited or RSVPed can see the messages.

After the Event

The chat stays there forever, so you can look back at memories, photos, or decisions made during planning.

View and manage who's attending your plans, and send reminders.

Adding and Removing Members

Manage who has access to your organization and its calendars.
