Calendars & RSVPs
How RSVP Works
Understand RSVPs and how to respond to invitations.
RSVP means "respond if you please" and it helps organizers know who's coming. Here's how it works in Leaf.
The RSVP Options
When you see a plan, you can respond:
Going
- I plan to attend
- The organizer counts you as confirmed
Maybe
- I'm interested but not sure
- The organizer sees you as a possible attendee
- You can change to "Going" or "Not Going" later
Not Going
- I can't make it
- The organizer knows you won't be there
- This helps them finalize headcount
How to RSVP
- Open the plan
- Click one of the RSVP buttons at the top
- Your response is instant
You can always change your mind—just click a different option.
Adding a Note
Some plans let you add details when you RSVP:
- How many guests you're bringing
- Dietary restrictions
- Special requirements
- A personal message
Click the note icon to add this info.
What Organizers See
The host can see:
- How many people are going, maybe, or not going
- Names of everyone who RSVPed
- Any notes you provided
- Change history (if you update your RSVP)
Reminders
Before a plan starts, you might get reminders:
- 1 week before
- 1 day before
- 1 hour before (if you want)
Adjust reminder settings in your account preferences.
