We look to the left, then we look to the right. We then turn on the jets and head to the finish line.
Nerves have set in. Did we fix all of the bugs? Will anyone actually download it? Will it work? Will it fail?
These are all questions “time” will have to answer.
In the next few days, we will release Leaflets into the world. Hopefully, the world, or at least New York City will embrace Leaflets with open arms. It has been a long journey. It all started with an idea that had been marinating for years. It was time to have this idea come to life in an abnormally hot day in September. Yes, there were some troublesome times. My develeoper had filed for divorce. The code was broken. Money was running low. Competitors were innovating. And yes, there were great times. New, better skilled developer arrived. Partnerships came. Press came knocking. That’s the life of a startup. If this is the journey months before launch, I anticipate the journey that lies ahead.
I’ve had never been more excited than I am today, knowing all the hard work that has gone into this project and it was certainly not just by me. There were several friends and family that not only brought new and bright ideas, but they also brought a willingness to share their talents. If you are reading this, you know who you are. Thank you.
On your mark, get set…
